Meet Coordinator of Student Affairs - Sean Hogan

good morning good afternoon or good evening depending on when you're watching this I am Curtis High School coordinator of Student Activities Mr. Cogan and I want to give a very special greeting to all of our any incoming Freshman Class you may not know this but sometimes I'm known as the voice of Curtis because if you hear a voice on the announcements when you're in school probably going to be me so what is the coordinator of Student Activities do well if there's a Student Activity I coordinate it so that means if we have clubs here at Curtis, we have 36 of them by the way  including one that is just about to start up were going to have a brand-new chess club competitive to that's going to be starting in September we are putting those things together so that students can actually be together and participate in things and talk with each other and find interest that they can get together with other students and make friends that's the most important thing is we want you together we want you to be a part of Curtis we want you to be a part of the school I'm a graduate of Curtis myself class of 1987  a long ways ago but I have never left this place here and I've never left this place in my heart so we also run Student Government that's our S.O. student organization we have our president. vice president secretary. and Treasurer who are seniors have senior class representatives, junior class representatives ,sophomore class representative and even Freshman Class representative so every single grade is represented here at Curtis High School and you are the of voice of Curtis High School and any concerns you have you want to bring to the Principal you can come right through us through the student organization we will take the concerns right to mr. Jaenicke we have a voice a Curtis you will have a voice at Curtis and we decide that we want to make things fun that's up to you if you want to make things interesting that's up to you and want to make things inclusive and involving all members of the Curtis High School Community that's up to you my pleasure to say hi to you I look forward to seeing all of you here I look forward to greeting you in the hallway and if you happen to see a very tall Warrior mascot you can just give a little wave when you see him because we have a very very good mascot here I don't know who it is but I understand that this mascot is incredible so again I'm Mr. Cogan I have an office in M49 and M50 where the SO meets, we meet with the kids every week we coordinate the club's we coordinate all of our schools activities together to make it something that's interesting fun exciting for everyone I look forward to seeing you all here and again I'm Mr. Cogan and I just want to say this good morning freshman thank you
