Curtis High School Accepted Student Day
Class of 2029! All accepted students to Curtis High School are invited to attend our Accepted Student Day on May 15, 2025 starting at 6 pm.

Spring Fling Festival 2025
Come out of Sunday, May 18th as the Curtis HS PTA presents Spring Fling Festival 25'. Food, Entertainment, Games, and much more. $5 per person.

Destinie Mills 27' represents Curtis at National Bridge building contest
Destinie Mills, a nursing student and sophomore in Ms. Jackson’s year one physics class, qualified for the national stage of the competition in Chicago after coming in second place at regionals.
As part of an semi-annual class project, the year one physics class put together bass wood bridges, in accordance with the rules for the Chicago Bridge Contest. Destinie’s bridge scored a whopping 647.6, in efficiency and placed first among all physics classes. If the bridge received an efficiency score above 250, then the student got the chance to rebuild it in order to test it at John Bowne High School in Queens. There, on March 22nd, Destinie placed second, with an efficiency score of 1,127.16. She is one of three students representing New York, and is the only one from Staten Island.

Curtis Senior honored by Spectrum NY1 News
Congratulations to Class of 25’ Raya Scheffler who was recognized by Spectrum NY 1 News for her exploits as a 3-sport athlete. Raya plays basketball, lacrosse as well as swim for the Warriors. This triple-threat started playing basketball as a young kid and jumped in the pool at four years old, but only picked up a lacrosse stick the summer before her freshman year. Congratulations Raya!

Spring Concert 2025
Come out on May 8th for our annual Spring Concert at 7 pm to enjoy the sounds of our Performing Arts Department. The Guitar Ensemble, Guitar Quartet, The Curtis Choir, Concert, Symphonic & Jazz Bands.
