The DOE’s new Parent University seeks to educate and empower all families from early childhood through adulthood, with free courses, resources, events, and activities. Parents can register for free trainings on a wide range of topics, including adult education, student social-emotional learning, and special education.

NYC Schools Account (https://mystudent.nyc/) QuickStart Guide
With a NYC Schools Account, you can view your child’s Report Cards, Attendance, Test Scores, Transportation Schedules, Program, Graduation Tracker, change of update their/your personal information, and much more!
- Visit https://mystudent.nyc/ Click “Create Account”.
- Enter your name, cell phone number, and email, then click the “Validate Email” button.
- Check your email for a message from [email protected] for the 6-digit verification code. This is not the Parent invitation code you get from your Parent Coordinator
- Enter the code into the “Email Verification Number” box. Then click “Submit”.
- Create a password following the guidelines: At least 1 number, 1 letter, 1 special character and 8+ characters long.
- Select 3 security questions and provide answers. Be sure to write your Password and Answers to the Security Questions down and secure them in a familiar place.
- Enter each child’s student ID # (OSIS). You can also find the number on any report card.
- Enter your Account Creation Code). Then click on “Create Account”.
- Congratulations! You have successfully created your account!
- Sign in to begin using your account and view your child’s information.
